Some colors you simply like. Others somehow end up on your sweatshirts, your water bottles, in your yarn stash—and eventually everywhere else you look. Playing Favorites: Vicky is that color for me: a lively, warm coral that I seem completely incapable of resisting.

This tonal has a beautiful balance of pink and orange warmth, creating a saturated coral that feels happy without being sugary-sweet. A quick color note: photographs tend to pull this shade pinker than it appears in person; the actual yarn reads distinctly coral.

Playing Favorites is an ongoing collection inspired by the colors our family can’t seem to live without. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be introducing each family member’s personal favorites — those shades that somehow keep showing up in our clothes, our homes, our everyday things…and, naturally, our yarn.
