Like late-afternoon sunshine spilling across a Vermont hillside, Playing Favorites: Abbie is a warm, softly tonal golden yellow with touches of honey, wheat, and mellow ochre. It has all the cheerfulness of yellow without being overly bright—the kind of color that somehow manages to feel sunny, cozy, and earthy all at once.

Abbie is the youngest of Vicky and Brian’s collective crew and someone who knows a thing or two about enjoying the good stuff. She works for a fancy grocery store chain, where she manages the alcoholic beverages, cheese, and bread departments—which, frankly, sounds like a pretty excellent combination. When she isn’t working, she and her husband Tyler are busy settling into their first home and having a blast turning it into a place that feels completely their own.

And when the mountains call? They go. Abbie and Tyler are avid skiers and hikers who take every opportunity they can to get outside, making this warm, outdoorsy gold seem especially fitting for her.
